Dear All,
Is it possible in FPSC produced games to extract some internal info about game situation (for example shoot hit on player and player motions) in real time to another application in windows when game is running. You can guess why I need these data at real time.

Thanks all

ACtualy, pissibly, not hit detection, but player movements are possible to be logged. Simply make a exe that tracks the payer's location based on whether w a s or d is being pressed. Make another exe to launch the game and the key ogger in the backround.

Well yes this would work very well in games where there are absolutely no walls or other objects you could walk into. Simply put, when collision comes into play you will have no way of knowing the player's position.

I certainly can't think of a legitimate reason.

Also using another exe to log key strokes probably would not go down to well with various Anti-Virus/Malware programs. I can understand the use of exporting data from the game to log high scores, headshot counts and so on but as of this moment it simply can't be done without modifing the soruce code.

Tal

P.S: I would personally love the ability to capture ingame data and export (From Global and even Local variables) aswell as a screenshot script command to screenshot the current loayout of the screen.

Thanks for your answers

I'm trying to test a home made arcade hardware which I've built
and I wanted to know if I can use FPS for the purpose.
While I know it is off topic but may by any chance you know a game
on the market with this ability ? what about darkbasic if you have
experienced it?
