It is really simple, simply load the sprite and making X and Y variables by:
dbCreateAnimatedSprite (1, "Sprite.png", length, height, 1);
int spriteX = 100;
int SpriteY = 300;
Then in the darkGDK loop, you can do if statements for the keys that change the X and Y variables like this:
if(dbLeftKey())
{
spriteX--;//by subtracting the X value, it'll make the sprite move back
dbSprite ( 1, spriteX, spriteY, 1 );//puts the sprite on the screen according to X and Y
dbPlaySprite ( 1, 1*(Start Frame)*, 5*(End Frame)*, 100*(Delay)*);//Optional if you want the sprite to play from a certain frame
}
You then do the same for any other arrow key. Hope I helped.
