I was wondering if there is a way of targeting a structure from the build menu, without actually repositioning the camera.

In this screenshot if I want to set the rally point of a structure I double click on 10 which moves the camera to the structure so that I can target it. What if I am already at the location that I want to set the rally point? It is a real waste of time having to move the camera around like that.
