I thought it was impossible. >.>

Hooray! Here's some info about it:

It's running on Ubuntu with Wine 1.0.0
In Winecfg, I enabled "Emulate Virtual Desktop"
Visual effects are disabled in "appearance"
Display Mode in my game is 400,300,16
I did not disable Pixel Shaders (I guess that causes problems sometime)

I don't know why, but none of my other programs are working. I haven't tried running DBPro itself, only applications I've made. But this is the only program I thought to use in 16-bit color mode, so I think that might have something to do with it. Anyone else get their games to run?

Yeah ubuntu is great But i wonder why you use Wine 1.0.0 its so OLD! Use newer one and almost every windows program will work. And FFXI is soon working completely and i dont need windows at all. Anyways DBPRO works perfectly for me, but if the window layout hasnt set manually on dbpro code i need to run game on virtual desktop to create window borders.

It's old? But it's the only stable release they offer. What version do you use? o.O

Looks like this could be worth looking into, I'll try installing DBPro on ubuntu later.

I like ubuntu it seems as though its the most stable linux when using windows programs. To be honest im one of those people who whould like it if linux became mainstream because im fed up of forking out for an operating system i dont even like.
