Hi,

I just bought a wireless network adapter for my 360, and I was wondering: How is LIVE? I've heard they've mad GFWL free, but I'm wondering if XL is free. I have a free 1 month trial for Gold LIVE that I got from Halo 2 for PC, and I just need some reviews on it. Also, if you have any of the following multiplayer games, let me know if you wish to play with me when I get LIVE working.

Halo 3
Test Drive Unlimited
Forza Motorsport 2
CoD4 (I might buy this, but it's a ridiculous price, I know, I know, it's because it's a good game lke H3)

EDIT: Oh yeah, I don't have the wireles adapyter yet, they said it'll take about a week to deliver.

CoD4 is a must buy, although I always hate getting into these games late, there's so many players out there who can kick my ass it get's kinda daunting to even learn to play properly. I think this is doubly true with Halo3.

There's Battlefield2, which I'd get even though BF:Bad Company is out, BF2 is a lot of fun on Live, when you get a game with sensible players that is.

GTA IV has some great multiplayer modes, but I tend to just free roam with my brothers, kinda go looking for the best stunts, practice flying heli's, annoy each other basically. If you ever wanted to wander around Liberty City with your mates, then you can't go wrong. One thing I like about it is simply how crazy things can get with more than 1 human influence, 2 or 3 human players can cause a lot of carnage . GTA IV is really a vital purchase for the 360.

To play online you'll need a gold account... It's not free but it isn't expensive...

You can get a silver account for free but you can't play online, just go online and download demos etc...

Yeah but once you get addicted to the online gaming you'll want more than 1 month and iirc you get a free headset inside the box when you buy a 1 year subscription to live...
