Is he a comic genius or what?
I'm always looking for anything new that he's done.
I hope I can meet him before I die.

Bit of a random topic, with no real way to discuss further. Like a blog post.

I grew up watching this man. And he inspired me to get into film and acting. The man is a joker/actor/teacher and all around great guy. Another is Heath Leger. Even if he is no longer with us. I made a Joker parody on You Tube to honor the actor and the character of one of the most evil villains in the DC universe. Woody Allen would be proud of me! Check it out guys! Just be warned, There is adult language and the use of a double chin in my video. Cheers! And be on the look out for video previews of my FPSC game for Halloween entitled "Everyone's Paranoid ".
Alright...I'm taking it down...Just enjoy the video.

RJ, if that's your sig, you need to fix that. I think 128x128 is the limit.

So when do I get to meet Woody?
The whole universe is neurotic. Some of us are just frank enough to admit it. And then along comes a genius who not only admits it but makes a parody out of it.

I really enjoy Woody Allen movies. I catch the odd one when it's on TV, but I'd like to see all the good ones.

When do you get to meet him? Bear in mind he should be running low on energy at this point. He is 72, married to a woman 42 years younger (who was controversially characterized as his step-daughter when the fur was flying some years ago), has two adopted kids, and lives in New York City, which is exhausting in and of itself. So I wouldn't wait for a book-signing tour in your particular neighborhood, wherever that might be. You have to hit some of the Manhatten jazz clubs, and at the right time.

I was watching his stuff almost 40 years ago when I was in college. Loved it then. I occasionally watch an old one on TV rerun. His later stuff did not impress me as much because it seemed like a recycle of the older stuff. It didn't strike me as growing, or going somewhere, but rather standing still.

Joan Collins of 'Dynasty' fame saw Woody at a party and walked up to him and was all over him
"You know Woody, we've never met before, but I feel we're the same, both shy and introverted"
Woody: "You could have fooled me!"

Har, har
