Anyone who can answer this, but is not Lee Bamber, please feel free to answer.
I am thinking about entering a contest on youtube, HERE
I believe the rules state that if you use any copyrighted material, you must have the express permission of its owner. I was thinking of showing a few shots of the DBP editor in my video.

So my question is:
May I show the DBP editor in my video?
It promise you it will not do anything to damage DB's reputation, and it will not badmouth DB in any way. It will probably be good publicity, especially if I win.
It will basically be a video about a office full of programmers, so I figured I should use DBP as their language.

Wouldn't it be easier with an email? Anyways, hope you get the permission and win the contest or whatever. Good luck

I don't think you need permision to record yourself using something. When UK TV channels don't think they'll get permisson from another channel to use a clip they own they just record someone watching it on TV

Copyright laws allow for "fair use" (reviews, research etc.) or parody (comedy)

You could always use the alternative IDE anyway, the one that dosen't lose your work!

DinoHunter (still no nVidia compo voucher!), CPU/GPU Benchmark, DarkFish Encryption DLL, War MMOG (WIP), 3D Model Viewer

Yes, I understand all the fair use and parody stuff, but the rules of this contest said I HAVE to have the copyright holder's permission.
Anyway, I've talked to lee, and He gave me permission.
