well first of all when i go to compile or execute or wateva this comes up
cannot create file c\:My Documents\DARKEDIT.TMP.

then if i save the file i can execute it when i do it says error running core

somebody please help this is bugging the hell outta me

Hello,

When you first start using DarkEdit, you have to set it up a bit to tell it where to find certain files and where to initally save your projects. Launch DarkEdit. Click on Edit > Edit Options

There should be a dialog that has four tabs. Look for the one that reads DarBASIC Options. Click on that. There should be 4 text edit boxes that will allow you to choose the appropriate paths and apps for DarkEdit to work with your machine.
