Hi All,
I want to know how to make a program that can let you save what you've done, lets say i make a program and you write stuff, draw stuff, ect. and i want them to save it and can later re-open it. How can i do this?

you need to be more specific, is it like a paint program? or do you want to save data from a game ie. make a game save

You know whats weird???

For a paint program you can use the "save bitmap" command, and reopen the bitmap later. For files, see some examples on files. I don't feel like explaining it all right now.

Hmm.. Say I tell the user to input some stuff, then they input a number and i use those things to do something later on such as constantly add or subtract it, what if they want to keep that number/information instead of re-doing it again.

Be patient, u had three straight posts within 30 minutes.

Obviously you havn't looked at the resources page at the top of this forum, or you have not used the search function.Nothing gets my more fired up than someone who JUST ASKS QUESTIONS all the time, when you can easily solve this problem!?!?!?!?!?

If you want to save a name or something, you'd use an array, most data can be easily saved using an array.

open a file to write an then save all your stuff in that file...
lately you will open to read and read all the stuff back again
