Well the Sentry is uploaded, and awaiting approval. Its free and the best part is "It's got chicken legs!"

Next I'll be making some random odd horror enemies while I start work on the first Creeps and Freaks remake-'Dr.Gas' 2.0.

I like the new model, I think I would of had the head on the left hand shoulder in the centre and had the guns positioned each side of the head

I love the sentry!-however, the texture looks a little too "clean", you know?
...hey wait a minute, did you happen to base this guy off of the maga-doomer?

How is this boned, is the shoulder item with red lens on it, is that boned, does it work as the head and move about. It really drives me nuts, I think its being a Libran, sign of balance and all that, having an item on its shoulder all jaunty and that really flips me out, I wish you had posted the shoulder thing before you had skinned it as its drives me potty, is it the head, Id download it and check it out, only Id have to upgrade a service pack and install IE7 for the store to work.
You should of left that off the shoulder, and had the nands at the shoulders so it could duel weild big weapons and do some serious damage, rather than have the gun between its legs all phalic and that.

@Ertlov- Thanks and yes definitely. If you need something special, just let me know.

@Errant AI- Thanks, shouldn't be long. I had delays since the one I uploaded had 'can pick up weapon' at 0. It's all fixed now and just awaiting approval.

@fallen one- It has no shoulders at all actually. I erased all the bones from the hip up and added some of my own since the 'head' programming in FPSC was fighting against the spine animation. Trust me , I went through allot of trouble to get this freebie working propperly. The sensor is the head but could not be rotated like I wanted so it looks up and down instead of left to right. You can easily alter the head placement if imported into your personal modeler. Since the head rotates up and down , you don't even have to move the bones, just the model to refix it where you would want it. LOL technicly its connected to the head not the crotch, so I didn't really think it was that phalic, but if you can move bones as well in your modeler you can place the gun where ever you want.

@some kid- I made the skin clean just because, I'm not the best texture artist, and I've seen others do retextures that are much better than mine on my models. The clean look give them a base to go off of. I didn't base it on the megadoomer, but any mech I see with the backwards type legs I say that to, but good catch on the Zim reference.

I've just added a few more objects to the store waiting for approval. It's not character models but I'm trying to create something every month no matter what it is. Here are a series of buildings I made with more to come.

Thanks, I hope to have all sorts of buildings done, perhaps enough different ones to create a whole city.

I added more thumbs to the first post.

These are great but I wish someone would make a huge building like that, that you could go into, for like city scenes and such, even if there was only 1 floor it would still be awesome.

Its a great idea in theory, but FPSC and ai characters just don't want to cooperate when it comes to single mesh models like this, so a player can walk through it and get snagged every 3 feet, but an ai enemy would just walk in place. FPSC is a fickle mistress.

You could split the whole model up into 3 by 3 segment square pieces but god that would be a pain.

ugh, yeah, thats waay more trouble than its worth. Instructions would have to be included ect. It would take more time from development and give more time to explaination. No thankyou.

Nice buildings man!
Really great work!

Just one question, is it possible to post a wireframe shot?
I am also making some buildings for my game...and i am trying to find new methods.
Or learn new techniques, i looked over google for some wireframe shots
and found lots of them.
It really helped me on the way for making my own.
I already had my own methods, but i am trying to expand my knowledge with 3d modeling and texturint etc...

So if you could, it would be great

And again, great models!

why have you split the walls up, its a waste of polys

You can fit more on the uv that way, if it was all one the texture would look low res on it.

Yep like Samhh said.

And thanks Disturbing, for posting the wireframe shots!
(cant learn enough when it comes to modeling)
Really good solid model!
When i first saw the ingame shots, i thought they were more detailed in the mesh itself.
So thats a great thing! Really shows that the texture is doing a great job!
When i'll buy points. I'll make sure i'll buy these also!

You have the texture repeating, not one big texture spread over it, so its a waste of polys cutting it up.

Maybe. But if it was one single box! Than the textures would really be stretched.
Therefore it would look ugly.
And, i dont know how many polygons 1 building is? But it isnt that much probably.

They are not streached, its one texture that repeats, it is one texture that repeats 3 times, ie it is "tiled". You can tell some users here have only used fpsc, if they dont now what tiling textures are.
