of course when im making a game, custom stuff shoulnt be left behind,so i gave myself a new objective: making my own textures for houses, currently it looks suprisingly well for first time, model is lowpoly and will get some more details later, also i applied some bumpmap wich is very easy to make,i am REQUESTING FOR BAD comments so i know what i should fix up and any idea, tip or tutorial how to make it looks like pro textures should tell me ASAP

The roof needs to overhang a few inches.

Looks nice, very CoD4.

The giant dark spot in the middle of the house texture looks a little odd, but maybe it's just the way that it's angled.

The texture does look a little stretched at the side near the top. Apart from that it's looking ok.

Very nice, djmaster. I like it a lot. It turns out that it was just the way that it was angled. Thanks for the download.

Hi djmaster

Nice house. When are you going to release it?

Hope you don't mind I had a go at a re texture for it as attached. Can we use your model in our games?

i dont mind a retexture, you can use the model as you wish (retexturing, adding stuff) but keep me as the original author of the model in the readme, thats all i ask for

started on some bars, can be used for jail or a cellar window

thanks, the bars are made for one segment height so you can use them for whatever you want, the texture is a bit my first metal texture so it looks a bit crappy, currently im working on a broken fence, check it out,all textures are made from scratch(except stuff for the house),this is also my first wood texture made in PS so it aint awesome really but this tone is good for furniture,i gotta lighten it up for the fence

Looking fairly interesting, Some could use a little work on the textures, just to make it look less bland. But it looks pretty good. ((Perhaps try to grunge the textures up a bit?)).

What program are you using?

YOU CAN ACOMPLISH MUCH MORE COMPLEX MODELS WITH MS3D by starting with adding vertexs alone and (it feels) like you have only used boxes for this....
wich is NOT a good feel...

all in all its quite good.

im using 3dsmax,i know i could have used loads of verts but this is a simple model, why need all the fancy dancy pantsy details when you can keep it simple and good
