3 Dimensional Chat / Can you play an animation backwards?

I have a 3d animation played using keyframes. Is there a way to play the animation backwards or do I have to make another animation going the other direction?

perhaps use a for / loop in reverse to simulate the frames playing backwards.

yup just set the step of the animation to -1
and remember to set the last frame and first frame accordingly

How do you set the step of the animation? I have been using the Play object command.

example: Play Object 1, 1, 15

I see you're using a for / loop to play animation files. That way you can play them backwards also... That may work. It may also fix the scaleing problem I am running into... My animated bone mesh is shrinking when I animate it in between keyframes.

or you could just, set animation speed [num],-10

Now my animation is going so fast I can't see it. I have added the code I am using in the source section.

I still don't know where you set the step value so I can make it play backwards any examples would help a lot.
