I have no idea of the reliability of this website. Just searched it on Google:

There's a forum dedicated to Laptops and information to do with them, people on there seem to know what they're talking about - they've answered my driver and hardware questions to do with my Acer Aspire 6920G, so I'm sure they might be able to answer your questions.

Are these new speakers cause if not your audio drivers have changed at some point. You can have at more than one driver, usually audio reverts back to motherboard audio, you have to change this to the one you want, can't quite remember how you do this, check Microsoft's XP audio device section for a guide. Even if there new you can still get the same problem and it doesn't matter how many drivers you install. One more thing, sometimes you can install drivers and it isn't set to the device, you have to set it to the device.

A dream is a fantasy, if you achieve that fantasy it was never a dream to begin with.

I see you're on XP, is this the OS that came with the Laptop? I know some Vista laptops have drivers that aren't XP compatible, if so that may be your problem, but check out the forums I linked you to and there are some techies that seem to know Acer laptops quite well.

Don't be disrespectful and post so many times in a row. Use Google, this is not a chat room. You've already been annoying quite a few of the users in this forum. Try some decaf coffee

ok, srry, all is going well. i was in a hurry to get it all sorted tonight. i got it all done w/ 30min to spare. (w/ 50+ items coppying/moving at once!) i might put xp home on again, that still worked but it is a pain in the a.. to install, it always gives errors while installing. before i was stressed out after searching for hours too find nothing. thx.

ps: decode this, it explains the situation!

First of all, this isn't MSN or something like that, you are probably able to post in at least reasonable grammar so why don't you? It's annoying when people type like that.
Second, why would you ask us for a solution to the problem and then when you explain the problem code it in ASCI art or whatever. That's like just not wanting help at all.
And what does your game even have to do with audio drivers?

Anyways, you do as you wish.

Umm. . . am I incorrect in assuming that XP Pro works with XP Home drivers perfectly fine? It's not a different operating system. It's basically the same thing with extra permission-management.
