If it's going to be a quick, fast-food-ish dinner, I'll take pizza or a burger over dogs any day...

Oh, okay.

If I was having them, I'd want one of the following:

-With a heap of chili, cheddar cheese and onions on top of it

or

-In a bun, covered with a small amount of dill relish, lots of catsup and heaps of mustard (it's got to be REALLY SPICEY mustard or it's no good).

And I don't mean that cheap stuff they sell at supermarkets or fast food places, I want organic ingredients (and stone-ground mustard) or I won't eat it!

Edit-- forgot to mention, BBQ sauce can replace catsup in a pinch. That stuff can go with damn near everything.

' I even have it on broccili'

OUTRAGE! HERACY! CALL THE GUARDS! GET THE COPS!

Brocoli is meant to be eaten steamed, by itself, perhaps alongside another delicious veggie like asperagus, not with KETCHUP!

Eeeeek...

each to his own though...

That's prolly because you're having sweet relish. I can't stand that stuff. Dill relish has very little sweetener, the main taste is the wonderful dill

'But its a public service!'

If hospitals aren't a public service, I doubt the McDonalds dudes would buy that one

I personally wouldn't be caught dead, flayed, and/or entombed in their playplace...

Used to love hotdogs (as they are called here) but gone off them somewhat after a few recent television programs show the way unofficial street traders prepare them.

Here in London there are literally hundreds of dodgy looking geezers wheeling around makeshift hotdog stands and selling the hotdogs for about £2.50 each.

What they don't tell you though is that any unsold dogs are stuck in a cardboard box until the next day! Hidden TV cameras showed them dropping them on the floor then simply picking them back up and sticking 'em back on the stand. Pigeon poo was seen on some.

I do buy the odd one from a reputable cafe and the classic British dog is simply a long bun, tomato ketchup and loads of onions. Scrummy!

I don't care, they may taste good, but they have virtually no health benifit. 90% of fast food joints are the work of the devil.

for me, dogs are tasty in certain time (i like to have it near the beachside or somewhere sunny & windy & wet), though ice-cream may be an alternative.
