I wanted to do a character that had a 50's B movie vibe, or the look from 70s early 80s British sci fi programs, so the look I wanted was something that wouldn't look out of place on a TV programme like Doctor Who.

I call this character Skaro Eve, in inspiration to the the Daleks home planet Skaro.

The concept for Daleks was created by writer Terry Nation after a period of living in Swansea in the UK, a time he found utterly depressing and soul destroying, at the time it was known for many centuries as the poorest area in Britian and known for its poverty and high crime rate. So in coming up with the planet Skaro he was mirroring a place of hopelessness, a dark place of evil, ironically, Swansea was named dark place after the Romans left Britain due to the fact they stationed conscripts from Ethiopia there, when the Romans left, they left these conscripts there who then bred with the local population, hence it became, the dark place.

And the name for his creatures of hate from Skaro, dalek, bearing quite a similarity with the Norwegian word "dårlig", which means "bad" or "evil".

I think my characters would not look out of place in an episode of classic Doctor Who, perhaps as the new Eves of Skaro, slaves to the dreaded daleks.

Perhaps you can create your own story with these characters, I'm sure they will fit your own science fiction game as exciting characters on whatever worlds your imagination creates.

Really have to make an individual thread for each retexture? is that really necessary?

Yes because I have a series of skins, not one or two, they go in the series, ie, bikers, sci fi, zombies, etc, each one will have multiple skins in the thread, that way people will find them when doing a search, If I put 50 skins all under a thread called fallen ones skins they wont be found, but someone seaching for say gangs and bikers will find the thread and in the thread they will find a whole series of skins on that subject.

Try them in dx10 or efx, they look real nice in efx mod for dx9 users.

If you hold back, there will not be any more period, Ive put skins up to see if people are interested, if they don't buy now, then they are not interested in skins period, I don't make more just in case they change their mind.

As for zombies, I figured that would, in theory be the biggest interest, I have everything I need to make, If I choose a good 20 female zombies, very easily, I have all the clothing sets to rip up and add to zombie characters. In the future Ill be skinning a male character from MP4 as I need to skin that model for a game I am designing for another engine, so a male model from MP4 will be skinned (for myself that is not necessarily or at all for fpsc users), I could if I wanted then make a whole bunch of zombie skins for the male model. But if the skins for the female character Ive put up don't go, I will not be making any products for FPSC ever again, that's the end, you have already seen me set a deadline on the skyboxes, the option to buy them comes down on the 4th, I don't stick around or mess about, Ive put the option there for skins, if people buy them, there is a market, if not, that's it, the end, I don't make any for fpsc again, I don't mess about.

So if fpsc users mess about waiting, or wait for a male character set, or wait till I come out with a massive range so you can pick and choose, it wont be happening, it takes time making high quality items, I'm not a service for fpsc users on the off chance at some distant time you perhaps someone may or may not want one, if the ones Ive done don't go, that's it, I take them off and don't make any again.

Its up to fpsc users, you get them now, Ill make more, if you don't get them now, I don't make any for fpsc at all, this is the trail, so its up to the community if I make any, but if you wait, don't hold your breath, because I wont make them, so its up to you completely, wait, and they are gone and no more will be made, buy them, and Ill make lots more, its that simple.

If you want, I will host those on my site. I will however take 50% of any sales made, so it's up to you if you want this or not.

I will point out however that the server I use has had 100% uptime since February, and runs at about 1.25% load at peak times. Again, this is only an offer, I won't be offended if you say no

They do look totally awesome, I especially like the sorceress one, shame you can't download it.

Anyways Fallen, I know the guy who does my hosting personally, so if you e-mail me with what you're currently paying and your requirements, I can get him to undercut your other provider, plus he'll transfer the whole site over for you too.

and GP, I haven't got your e-mail :/
