Try rubbing the mouse 3 times and then make a wish!

LOL, Seriously dude, you didn't say what you were doing,
what your computer specs were, what version of X10 you have,
etc etc.

If you could post your specs, it might help in determining the cause of the problem.

Quote: "Reinstall"

That's the last thing you want to try when you are working on a pc.
usually it's something minor and can be fixed either by getting help around here (provided anyone can understand you and,as stated earlier, post your system specs) or retrace what you did by going backwards until you find the error.
From experience I can tell you that a good percentage of bugs are user error.
But he might try:
Updating your drivers for video, etc.I had to update mine when I got FPSC.
Make sure you have the RIGHT version of Direct X.There's more than one floating around.
Post a pic of the error.

The most important thing is to post your specs.

If you don't supply details, "Reinstall" is the best advice you're going to get.

He was asked for details twice, oops, now three times. Apparently we're more interested in giving help than he is interested in getting it.

What? You can use window segments? What does that have to do with your problem? Does not using them cause problems?
