What software can i use to create sound effects for a space 3d shooter game, is audio cleaning lab the correct one as sold on this site ?

I think audio cleaning lab is for fixing sounds and taking out static and stuff. I don't know of any programs to make sounds, but here's a site with GREAT royalty-free sounds.
