The topic title says it all.
How can I add my own content into FPS Creator X10?
I know what tools are needed for the old version, such as x files to entities, and firma segment editor e.t.c.

Any advice would be great

It's the same for X10.
But you'll need to edit your fpe to get the specular and normal maps in.

Search in this forum for "texture tutorial" - that explains the process. I believe you can change the settings in Signs and Firma to create the custom segments in your X10 directory structure. From there you have to manually manipulate pull over normal and specular textures and work with the alpha channel in a Photoshop or Gimp to get it right. It's a pretty painful manual process, but it works if you follow the directions to the letter.

NOTE: When checking your results in the engine, make sure you have the ambient light level down very low and a light source on your map or you may not even know you were successful. ** Speaks from experience **

And with the textures, remember to put them in the FPSC X10 Files\texturebank.

Much frustration was passed before I realized this
Otherwise, they just don't appear in-game.

Settle for nothing but the best.
