I'm using the pixel perfect sprite collision here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=51743&b=6

It works great on everything except animated sprites, which tank the FPS when checking for the pixel perfect collision. However, the author of the snippet says performance is enhanced by preloading memblocks. What does he mean? How is this done?

Switched to yours. It is a bit faster. It works fine in 32 bit mode, too.

I'm looking forward to the new version! My method of detecting collision with animated sprites is to position an invisible normal sprite in the same location. Klunky and takes longer to code, but it's good enough for now.
