I currently am learning about making movies at school so I want to make one. Well, at first just write the script. And maybe in the future I'll use my sisters thousand dollars worth of movie making software and her video camera. I am having a little trouble. So I need your help.

Please give me some names of characters, or any other things that could help with my movie. If I someday make the movie your website/name will be in the credits.

what software are you gonna use to lay down music and revamp the audio?? Vegas Video 3???

as in charchter names, WTF is the movie about??? names come after movie layout is made.

My idea for a movie.

Characters:

Dweeb (played by Database)
The DB Gang (played by EVERY member of this forum)

Plot:

Dweeb hangs around the shopping mall begging for money. Nobody gives him any 'coz he is being really annoying. The DB Gang take offence to this constant begging and beat him to a pulp.

THE END

Look, kid, nobody is gonna take you seriously if you keep hanging around like this. You want to write a huge killer script but you can't think of names for the characters? Try doing some serious work in DarkBASIC or something other than ask for help in odd ventures to make cash and people might treat you with a bit more respect.

Well, I took a "film&video" course last year at my high school. Basically, we learned how to record and edit videos digitally. At the end of the course, it was our assignment to produce a 5 minute or so short film infusing everything we learned. I seriously enjoyed it, but I think my project was one of the brighter crayons of the box.

Basically, I did a script of a friend and me being sucked into my favorite PS2 fighting game: Virtua Fighter 4. Using my martial arts expertise, we coreographed an awesome fight for all the ladies to oogle at.

I've made films before. I used to work in Computer Television so aside from all the techie involvement in various films and rock concerts i've also acted and even have the distinction of turning down a part in the film Braveheart (yep true, no I dont kick myself) and Ivanhoe - i've edited a sporting video, written some short scripts, developed new televisual effects and acted scenes in auditoriums crammed full of 20,000 thesbians. I'm a jack of all movie sub-trades.

Thefore I give you my recommendation for a character name:

Bob

See, what a cool name! One that could only be arrived at from somebody so experienced in the film making industry as I am. I'm great to give you such a marvellous name to use, all worship me please.

PS: Yes I really am that sarcastic.

not every one, just some ppl. I have a kid in my class who wants to build a metropolis similar to start wars. He says he is actually gona do it, Although i tell him he is on drugs, he wont listen. Some ppl at our age kanzure, think they an do anything. Some times i feel that I can make halo 3, only to find out thats insane. Dang it.

I guess it all depends on how you grow up on the internet. I grew up just experimenting with stuff, and then trying to make my own thingy like it. Thus, I know much more about modifying things to make it work for me. Although I don't put that skill to good work, ehhhh..... Anyways, its prolly because he never has been on a board, and he is 13, and he is part of the "cool" gang in school.... o_O

5? How do you keep track of them>

I tried RGT too, but I don't like it very much, so now I only use this one. RGT takes like 5 minutes+ to load, when this one takes milliseconds. I have to scroll to the right whenever I want to rea something. An I hate the color scheme.
