It could be the RAM from what I can see...I've got an 8500 too and it works fine. But I have 2gb so that might be the difference.

Settle for nothing but the best.

Pretty new to forums..new to FPS too. Please help. Have a Vista 32 bit machine with:

Intel dual core 2.13GHz
2 Gig Ram
Nvidia GeForce 9600GT
DX10 preinstalled Here's what happens when we try to run demo of FPSX10

It does its self extract thing then we get error message
"error: direct x9.0 installed requires dx9.0c or later"

click ok and then:

"application failed to start because d3dx9_32.dll was not found. Reinstalling application may fix. (We got that dll file and installed in win/sys32 folder)

click ok and then:

failed to load DLL(2:BPProCamera1.0.dll) The specified module could not be found.

So frustrated. Want to get full version for my son, but not if it won't run on our system. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Download directx9 form microsoft for the demo to work it needs both x9 and x10 wierd but true. And yes your comp will run x10 with no problems..

Hey seth zer0

Thanks so much for your help. We finally got the demo up and running. Thanks for taking the time to help us!! We've ordered the program and can't wait to get started. If we have any issues, we'll come back and check the forums again.
