is there an way to make an hlaf life 2 kinda hud for your weapons with scripting? that looks like a really cool hud

You get that HUD if you buy my pack .....
But its kind of easy to do, I think I posted one in a Half Life 2 related competetion in the models/chat area.

Well... you would need to set up the HUDs in a script and call them up whenever the player swaps weapons and have the script display the highlighted version of each weapon if the player has that weapon selected...

Of course, to make your script capable of truely tracking what weapon the player is selecting, you would need to (at a bare minimum) be able to detect the player using the mouse wheel to cycle weapons... which the official version of FPSC cannot do.

To make the inventory HUD much easier to script, you would preferably want a Mod that could detect the exact weapon that the player is holding.

yeah and there's my problem,
ive tried everything but when i put any mod in it my fpsc doesnt work, it freezes all the time and sometime doesn't even start at all,

ive tried mods with every upgrade but still doesn't work

Mods are designed for FPSC V1.07-V1.09
Any other version of FPSC will NOT WORK with the Mods, until a newer version source is been released and the Mods are re-coded into that source.


If you still cannot get any Mods to work, then I'm afraid you're SOL.

i am going to try it this afternoon for the last time with all the mods on v1.07-v1.09
if it sill doesn't work then i am doomed for no mods fforever
