Yes, I love it. Next time go check a couple of reviews on the internet and find the answer for yourself. Also, we can't judge how you will like the game. Maybe you will overlook the excellent gameplay and focus only on the graphics and not have a fun time. Who knows.

Or, considering it's Crysis, you'll do the exact opposite.

One of my favorite parts (well, the way you control it, that is). If you want, you can download the demo to try it out. It's so much fun.

You probably can, but nobody here can tell you if it will work on your computer. If your system falls under the minimum requirements, then you're taking a risk. We can't answer that for you. Have you considered looking at the Crysis forums?

Not necessarily. Seriously, the graphics card is very important for this type of game. What did you run the demo on, and how well did it run?

It most likely set it to Low, then. If you were satisfied with how the demo looked and performed, then go for it.

EDIT:

Low, not Very Low. Very Low doesn't exist.

I haven't completed Crysis, but apparently there are sections later on that make the game appear to run at 1 FPS even on moderate systems. Have fun

I'm not sure if that's just next-gen graphics or inefficient engine programming.

Next gen graphics. It's supposed to be insanely efficient throughout (the engine, that is).

The game lagged for me later on the first time I played through (8800 GTS, Quad Core, 2GB Memory) but I was playing on HIGH. After some of the more recent nvidia driver updates though I ended up getting significantly better performance, and was able to put everything but post processing on very high and still get slightly better performance than I was getting on high. First time around though, I could hardly watch the last cut scene because it was going at about 5 seconds per frame (not my use of seconds per frame ).

Anyways, this second play through is going much smoother, I still have some bottle necks on the carrier as it loads in new assets but not as bad as the first play through. Probably would have been better if they split that into more than one level, but if it could run as well as it did and still be one giant level, they must have worked pretty hard on optimizing it.

I've often found myself defending Crysis in the forums I travel in, which is a shame. I really enjoyed this game, it provided me with some very memorable and atmospheric experiences.

I wouldn't like to give away some of the later levels, but there are a few jaw dropping moments. I'm still stuck on the final encounter myself.

I highly recommend it if you believe you'll be able to run it decently.

My computer is under the min specs in the area of processor, and as long as I have the graphics all the way down it runs fine.

Yeah, later on the fps will drop because of the snow geom shader, used in the later frozen scenes. Mind you, the ending is well worth it. So epic!

I quite like Crysis - I questioned whether or not it'd be fun, but it is enjoyable I think, it seems like an improvement of Far Cry and I actually prefer it to Far Cry, it's kept me interested for quite for into the game and a lot of FPS games can bore me after a while, Crysis so far hasn't (I've got passed the Alien caverns thing, so I imagine I'm quite far).

I actually experienced this a while back with rouge trooper by rebellion.
almost at the end of the game that made it almost unplayable
But rebellion didt help me out that much more then that they where sorry
the game specs where 2 ghz singel core,512 mb ram ,128 mb gfx memory.
And my computer is 2 ghz centrino dual core,2gb ram and nivida 8600 gt 256 mb.
It is a budget label game from pc best buy,i bought it as i love the judge dreed and rouge trooper universe

The latest far cry game that ubi soft is doing on it self is getting really bad reviews.
Stupid ai whas the largest drawback by reviewers that i could find.

Indeed, it is probably one of the most dramatic games I've played to date. It was really interesting and just plain cool at first, but when SPOILER
started, it was just like - wow. This is a BIG game.

Meh. It's an OK game, but nothing revolutionary or taking-the-world-by-storm material.

I'm scared to mention Halo for the fear of getting my head lopped off.

I'd have to second this, Crysis as a game isn't revolutionary at all in my opinion, the engine though, that's another thing completely.

I agree in some ways. The story is not original, and mainly seems like yet another fps. What is revolutionary, is the shere scale of the maps vs graphical quality + physics quality. Also the nanosuit features are a very interesting concept. This it what makes crysis stand out from the rest. If you have the machine that is.

Lol indeed. Lucky you didnt, or you would get a lot of posts along the lines of
... Well halo is barley revolutionary.. its another fps.

My old PC's processor was under the minimum and I was ok. You'll probably get away with it on lowest. All I can say is, play the demo and if it works and is fun for you, go and buy it. Oh and BTW, CRYSIS OWNS. Sorry, had to be said.
