Hey all,

I was just wondering how many of you would use a model conversion application if it were written. For hypothetical purposes, lets just say it works between all the major modeling applications out there.

Do you guys already have a few points in your workflow where models need to be converted? And how many of you would be willing to use a application, or maybe even an a webpage submission system to convert your models?

Any feedback and response would be wonderful! I'm just trying to get the feel for what kind of demand such a program would have.

Cheers,

I don't think many people would be using it because there are plugins for most modeling applications that can convert models from one format to another.

That's not necessarily true for every application though, is it?

It would be useful, but it would largely depend on how many, and which model formats were included. Having it web based would make for a very useful, and interesting tool, I actually like that idea quite a bit, could be convenient.
