Basicly, as the title says. The game Rise and Fall:Civilizations at war, is now free. I personaly bought it about 3 weeks after it was released, and was personaly very happy about the purchase. It was even rated 91% by Pc Gamer, so why are they now giving away such a succsesful game for free? Its a bit like giving away Half-life 2 or halo 3 for free.

Someone else is paying for it - it's apparently now an ad-sponsored game.

I'd say it's a good way to stop piracy if anything.

I didn't know about this but hey, I do know. Might as well get downloading. Perhaps more companies will take this route in the future, maybe offering a paying option as well for anybody who really didn't want adverts in their game.

Hehe. No probs people. The way to keep up to date, and know what awesome gaming downloads are avaliable, is by checking gamershell.com oftern. Theres a whole "Full game" section, for these full games. I belevie there is area 51, farcry, and others avaliable for free aswell as rise and fall.

Enjoy.
