Hi, did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for. I have a video in my storyzone. It's a windows movie player (.wmv) file saved at 800x600.

My pc screen is set at 1024x768 and the video file looks great on my comp. But when it plays in my fpsc game it looks very pixelated, like it's playing at 640x480.

Any suggestions? Is there a way to make sure the video plays at it's original size?

Thanks

Update: I played an AVI of the same file and it looks great. It must be the player being used by FPSC that doesn't show .wmv files as they are originally intended.

My problems is though, that AVI files are huge(file size wise). Any suggestions on how to format AVI's so they aren't enormous, but still look great when they play in-game?

Thanks

You could also try using a codec to compress your AVI file... though this relies on the people who play your game to have the same codec to view the movie.. (If someone could verify that, please, it'd be very helpful )

That's an audio format, not a video one.

It could be that the FPSC engine doesn't do bicubic interpolation or something. Quicktime has a great engine behind it and does full interpolating for resizing. I think that WMP does too, that's why they look very good when stretched out.

Nothing is impossible
