No you can't. There is no model for your character. You are just a camera.

The gun model is attached to the camera so when you look down the whole model gets rotated.

Yeah, it just ain't gonna work.
Besides, who can see the feet when they're pointing a gun at someone?

lol yeh if you did edit the source code you could possibly do it but it would be allot of work and owuld take along time basically FPSC would have been totally changed the way it runs if oyu did that

So might as well give up on the idea.

If the scripting for X10 is anything like X9, this isn't a possibility.

If it had a tad more functionality, this is what you could do:
- Model a torso with animations for walking and running forward and backward.
- Script the torso to follow the player around (No collision)
- Animate the torso when the player is moving (running anim when player is holding shift)

That would about do it.

You could in theory I think also make an upper torso as part of the weapon model, but it would be very limited, nothing like real commercial games (if you wanted a semi-3rdPS). I'm pretty sure you could do something where like only the head and shoulders were visible, that'd work ok I guess, but maybe not when combined with Ply's idea It'd require almost no special scripting though, just the usual to get a gun in.

Even Plystire's idea would require so much work it's not worth it. Think about it. It works because you're not using collision, which would look silly if your crawling through a vent. In order to turn a corner your player would have to go through the vent wall because he's out in front of you and the vent it not that wide.

Maybe in the future TGC will do a TPSC?

It doesn't even have to be a TPSC. I'd be alright with choosing a character model that the player uses, and having the camera mounted onto a model-specific area (i.e. the eyes). With that functionality, you could technically mimic how Mirror's Edge has Faith's arms/legs appear.
