FPS Creator X10 / How can I open FPG files?

Something weird happened, and my game saved as an FPG file. Now when I try to open it with FPS Creator, an error message pops up, and my game needs to close. Please help me!

Try changing the file type to .fpm or what ever it is. By renaming it (what ever your map nameis).fpm

You can also right click on it and chose a type editing software like notepad/wordpad and you can edit it.
