is there a way to make any of .gif sprite image show up on the screen using dark GDK, everytime I loadthem there not there, just a balck screen.

can someone send me a good convetro to use, I really don't how to convert sprites to .png, since when I tried to change my sprite from .gif to .png it didn't work, I want a sprite like this to show on my screen:

anyway, open it in paint, then "save as" and choose png

Paint can only do non moving images, I want to convert movving sprites that for some reason didn't apear on the screen:
