I was out the other night recording some sound effects, and the crickets were making for a nice autumn ambience, so I recorded them. I though someone would find this good for a game, so here you go.

I had one living under my bedroom window for a while. If you dare, picture me in my pajama bottoms in front of my apartments at two AM, trying to sneak up on him. Isn't it funny how they get quiet when you get near them, and then start singing again when you go inside? And no matter how quiet you are, dogs know you're out there. Try telling your neighbor that you really aren't a pervert!

Anyway, he's hopped off to another window now, and I'm having a little trouble getting to sleep without his singing. This should help. Thanks.

Best.

Ahhhh Nice, I've been trying to get some of these buggers recorded for a while but haven't been successful, now I can quit trying.
What do you use for field recording if you don't mind me asking?

I wonder what those sound effects were.
