Im beginning with the visual aspects of game development. I do have some experience with the code and scripting aspects. Well my question is Which of the apps in the title is the best and Why?(what can it do that others cant)

And price is no object since all programs are on our school server.

Milkshape, if you want it for some minor "hacking" of models then its okay.

3dsmax, 100% brilliant, worth the money, although you can get "gmax" a free version of 3dsmax, but its cutback in things.

Maya, never used it.

xsi mod tool6, Worth all of it, its free, better then 3dsmax if you ask me, cuz its free, worht the download, and its got all you need.

XSI, never used it, but I suggest XSI mod tool6, thats good too.
