You
do not remember correctly. That was how another user interpreted what I wanted. When said user stated that, I corrected them and told them I didn't want anything that specific.
EDIT: I just looked up the thread in question, and it was YOU, Jeku, who thought I wanted reasons that specific.
Form that topic:
Quote: "
Dude, who analyzes comedies like this? Are you insane? Comedies are usually *not* shining examples of great cinematography. Who here can honestly state the *exact* scene in a comedy where, because of a bad angle, they didn't like the movie? Do we really have time to go back and watch every scene of a comedy we didn't like, just so we can tell you the exact moment the little light bulb in our head turned off? Get a clue.
Let's see: The 37th scene where Jim Carrey looks at the camera--- I didn't like that his right eye was slightly wincing at the wrong moment, and the light source was 4 degrees too low, which made the feel of the movie become a bit too serious for a comedy..."
That is from one of Jeku's posts in the aforementioned thread. Jeku thought I wanted specifics like in his quoted post above. Where he got that idea, I don't know. I just wanted a more specific reason than "I didn't think it was funny."
Maybe something along the lines of "The gags were too immature for me." or "The jokes took to long to get to the punch line."
EDIT:
Quote: "Link to your sources."
Unfortunately, I don't have the time to do that now. In, fact I should be working right now, not arguing pointlessly with you guys.
Let me just say this:
I say its a fact, you insist it's an opinion. We're never going to resolve this argument because we are both certain we are correct. None of you will ever likely admit you are wrong, so I'm just going to walk away, and use my time for more constructive things. I'm not going to post in this topic again unless I feel it is absolutely necessary. Go ahead with the "yeah, you better run!" jokes, I don't care. I'm tired of arguing with you guys.
