Important Notes/ Disclaimers

- Please note after various tests and reports Direct X11 cards have been found to have many bugs when using FPSC X10 and the Direct X11 software, we suggest you remove Direct X11 and install Direct X10.1 to remove any conflicts that other users are experiencing.
- After tests performed on several virtual computer software packages, it has been found that X10 WILL NOT work on virtual PC's.
- I am NOT responsible for any damages or loss of data caused by FPS Creators use, any hardware issues or damages must be taken up with Support not me.
- Nvidia Graphics Card require ForceWare 163 at least for the above information to be correct for the card.
- In FPSC X10 V1.08 and lower ATI Cards are not fully compatible and caused big slow downs this has now been fixed and in V1.09 and above the work as shown above.
- You MUST have Direct X 10 installed (or for V1.09 or above Direct X 10.1) Direct X 9 WONT work.
- You MUST have Windows vista or later whatever you hear Direct X 10 will NOT work in XP at all.
- Everything on this thread has been carefully checked, however i/TGC take no responsibility for incompatibilities every PC is slightly different.
- Warning to Direct X11 users, FPS Creator X10 has been found to be seriously buggy on systems using Direct X11 cards this means that if you have a Direct X11 card you CANNOT use FPS Creator X10 at this time. We hope that Lee will fix this soon.

!! USER SAFETY WARNING !!

There have been many releases of so called "X10 for XP" patches, these have been proved very unstable they can DESTROY PC hardware they often contain VIRUSES and KEY LOGGERS. DO NOT under any circumstances download them they dont work and can cost you dearly if it goes wrong.
No one will help you if you trash your PC by doing this and i'm sure TGC support will give you no help at all as you so obviously didn't read this message or countless others around the TGC site.

Any Questions on if your specs will work, post here and i will answer it here don't post all over the other boards its a waste of space and your thread will just get locked. No responses will be given if they arnt in this thread.

Jason: FPSCX10 only works with DirectX10 video cards under Windows Vista. am asking if you knew this? If so, why type it should work?

The Fps Creator rocks!: An ATI Raedon Xpress 1150 (X1150) is NOT Direct X10, it uses DX9. You'll need a ATI HD 2xxx or above my friend.

Sorry to say that, just to clear it up...

Answer is here

I have been wanting to use this for ever, and I finally got the chance.

Quote: "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3000 Series – Key Features
Incredible Microsoft® DirectX® 10.1 performance – Get ready for Microsoft® DirectX® 10.1 games and be blown away by lifelike graphics, with stunning 3D and shading effects putting you in the center of all the action."

Overall your setup should work just fine. I have heard rumors that ATI cards do not work as well in FPS Creator X10 as they should. You should browse the forums and find a game that someone has made. Download it and play it. Then you will know what your performance will be like.

My games run similar on my Alienware laptop with nVIDIA 8800GTX as on my clone desktop with ATI 2600 HD. And all the bugs I have seen happens on both systems, so they must be related to FPSC X10 and not the hardware. I think my desktop is able to handle X10 thanks to its quad core and fast RAM.
If you have an ATI 2600 HD, It will work, beleive me, I have one.
And if you find bugs, don't buy nVIDIA, the bugs will still be there.

All you need is love

@RobotDog Productions

I cant answer that please give me a list of system specs or a web page where i can find them you just saying "eee pc 1000" tells me nothing

@Baltico

That card does work but has considerable more lags on certain pcs than those with a newer card. They may run similar but under neath there will be a big FPS Drop that is well hidden.

Would this work on an NVDIA GeForce 7100/NVDIA nForce630?
130MB dedicated video, 830MB availible video memory?
Or will it ONLY work with 8800+?
I'll be sad if it wont run on my shiny new computer
