Why thank you! Hopefully this is a crowd pleaser.
Once the hobo is fully modeled and textured the pack will be complete and will be in the store.

Well I'm starting the hobo, should get it done by weekend, so far my idea is slippers or shoes, with torn jeans and a old jacket. but for some reason a jacket seems to clean-ish. Any ideas for something else? I will definently get a few variations such as a drunken bastard and one biped to beg for money as well as the heat seeker..

An old, dirty leather jacket would suit the hobo just fine.

Another idea: could you do a police officer that has a dark blue jacket & pants on with a police cap (for lack of a better term) and gloves? Doesn't have to have all of that, no need to work yourself too much.

This pack is looking great, BTW.

Very, very nice models your making here!

Can I take you back to the dumpsters you made a while back? You made 2 textures, one with graffiti which looks great. The other one isn't so great though, there aren't enough stains (and they are all green). You should rough it up a bit if you get the time.

Again, great work!

Why exactly a police officer? It depends if people actually want the model. Then i'll make it. I don't want to be wasting time.

Yeah, i thought i was lacking something with the clean dumpster model as well, it was too clean. lol obviously i will patch that up as soon as I can.

Urban pack = crime = police.

That's a simple equation right there. But it doesn't need a policeman, it'd just be a nice touch.

thanks guys,
This thread is still active, but im having a hard time trying to create the material for the jacket. I tried leather, but it looks horrible with just a diffuse map and no spec for the shine, so i would like to make the jacket out of this pic:
http://www.howardsview.com/lost/homeless-pictures.jpg
Could, someone help me identify the material he is wearing so I can continue? Help would be appreciated.
Wip so far.

Looks very nice man , you might want to give him better shoulders.

I think the jacket is made of dark blue cloth.

Somethings like this.

thanks, Yeah the shoulders seemed a bit awkward to me, I will fix em up right away, The jacket doesn't look like its made of cloth, but I'll try it out just to check it out, I also have to make some rip and tears in the jeans. I'll keep you updated.

Still need to work on jacket and shirt, and this is actually my first character texture I've made before, I've modeled characters but never got round to textured. Things turned out better than I expected.

I'll keep you guys updated.

Awesome. Let's clutter our streets with the unfortunate homeless....

I think a slimped against the wall anim would be great...

thanks, yeah sounds like a good idea, haha I was thinking a disorderly walk with a slight drunken sway would work well as the first model, second was going to be a cold hobo desperate for warmth warming up his hands as an idle animation. I'm making his winebottle in a paper bag right now.

Okay! I got the character ingame but I need some help. I have him rigged with an idle and walking animation, and when i put him into fpsc the animations that play are the default ones that fpsc provided, Could someone please provide some information of what the custom fpe should say. I could use some1 Like Bond1 to help me!

thanks half life dude!
Okay after much hassle i got my character in game. He rubs his hands together and takes a deep breath into his hands.Animation seems to work, But the problem is he plays the whole animation which includes walking on the spot! instead of the idle animation which is just chillen with the barrel! Must be something to do with the script.

Oh and while im here, i've fixed the wireframe problem which wouldnt let me add stock materials in 3ds so now it works. Poly counts are pretty low.

I didn't read this whole post so I don't know if some one posted this but, the graffiti on the dumpster came from a set of brushes. So I hope you are giving credit to the guy.

When will this be released?

And on this day we need to make a decision, are we going to follow the blind or the people with vision? Legalize the things you believe in.

I've been so busy going to the gym and playing css I nearly forgot about this

Got some segments done still have to do quite a bit more. Some of them were hand made because I couldn't find enough materials around my house that gave an urban look. And I found some good ideas on the internet which I copied not steal and made my own in PS. Theres not much Here atm but The walls are doubled because I've added curved walls to all of them.

Anyway As much as I've done so far:
