Yep that's right, Fable 2 is now out, well in USA it is lol. I just picked it up from GameStop and it is now playing the intro video. I can't even describe how excited I am.

Haha, I loved the first Fable. This Fable is mean't to be more open. But I wonder what will be the evil this time, most of Fables enemies are dead.lol

My friend and I were out cruising and saw the line, we pulled up and asked why they were waiting. They were like "Fable 2 is coming out". We then proceeded to RickRoll them.

They applaused :/ I would've been furious!

That's so wrong

It should be released in Britain now too, we have to wait on absolutely everything down here, we should at least get British developers titles at the same time as the US. I have it pre-ordered, but now I'm thinking I will have to wait a few days after release. Fingers crossed that it arrives on Saturday.

Looking forward to it though, although my son seems hell bent on murdering my virtual family as soon as he gets the chance.

I think they did an excellent job of promoting this on television, at least the U.S. Ads. Look foward to getting this myself.

J2D, you RickRolled them

Well I've been playing it since I very first posted this thread and it is definitely one of the best games I've ever played. I love it!

On a side note, Scary how much Rick Astley and Lee look alike.

It looks really, really good though, although I am slightly disappointing they added guns into a great fantasy game...

Damn you Americans! And your incredibly early release dates. Like Van B said, I think it would be nice if British developers released games at the same time, or earlier for us.

My order has been dispatched. Should arrive tomorrow!

I second that!

I was a bit disappointed about that too, but, the guns are actually really cool lol.

The game is so much different than the first. The fighting is LOADS different. Amazing game though.

I just beat the game and the ending is terrible. I was greatly disappointed with the ending of the game. It's an awesome game, but the ending really pushed my buttons.

I don't stop playing a game until I beat it lol. I didn't do all that much side stuff, I just wanted to get through the story. I'll go back through it again and do all the side stuff now.

The first game was made in Britain, is it not, still, Lionhead?

I've been playing it since release and I've only done the first quest where you find the hall of heroes... Because I got the Limited Edition copy (which gave you a DLC code) I've been running around dressed as Master Chief which I think is hilarious...

I am an awesomesauce blacksmith and have been playing pub games with my character so I can get the items for winning them and use them in game...

It's a shame you think the ending is bad Jenkins as after the brilliant start I was really looking forward to

Jenkins plays like I do. I rush through each GTA in that exact way, and actually, pretty much ever freeform game besides Morrowind.

I found with GTA4 that I would get distracted, like you'll be following a car or going to a mission location, then you'll notice a BMX track on the side of the road and you just happen to have a Sanchez. Then I end up killing myself in some stupid backflip or something and have to start the mission again .

It's a shame a lot of people like to just rush through a game to complete it as quick as possible, rather than taking their time and getting more fun out of it that way.

Well if that's the way a player gets enjoyment from the game, I don't think it's a shame.

Fable 2 being released stateside on Tuesday and here on Friday is merely down to release schedual differences between the stores.

That said it is quite irritating still.
Even if it was by a couple of days.

The game is a good fun though really wish co-op had been done differently, and more time had been spent on tweaking collision (particularly the bugs that cause massive slow-downs with it)

All in all though, it's definately some changes that were done for the best Still Fable through'n'through, but at the same time this is more and for the most part better.

Also really like how even once the main quest is done, there is loads to do.
