Please update your prices. I wish to purchase x-10, but due to the loss in value of the pound the actual price should be 35.99 GBP = 58.5968 USD So the price should be 58.60 not 69.99 A difference of $11.39 for US purchasers.

@ BiggAdd:

Would you rather spend $1 on a candy bar or $12?

Heck, the UK is always being ripped off by Japan/America. About time we ripped someone else off.

Should I continue coding or focus on my art? Vote here:

Here is a fun example.

Adobe CS4 Master Collection:

$2,499 US
£2,313 UK

I'd rather go for the $11 option.

$11 may not be much for people brimming with wealth like BigAdd, but not everyone can afford Adobe Cs4.

Ok that's fine. I suggest a swap. I'll pay TGC $11 extra for X10. You can experience the prices we have to put up with.
O and we will throw in the delayed release dates for free!

Exchange rates fluctuate all the time. Especially now with all this credit business.

Tell you what force master, when you send your appeal to the board of life and unfairness.... Can you swing it so I can buy a new graphics card £100 cheaper, like you guys seem to get it?
Cheers!

I maybe coming off a little harsh, but I think you can see my reasoning.

BiggAdd, that kind of thinking is why you are getting ripped off in the UK. What you are saying is that since someone ripped you off, then it is okay for you to rip off someone else. Or to put it simply. If someone kills your wife, girlfried, ... then it is okay for you to kill someone elses wife, girlfriend.

That kind of cycle is why I believe the human race is doomed Your to bloody obsessed with what happens to you, and you don't care about anyone else. You are selfish, irresponsible, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I'm not condoning the overpricing of goods for anybody. I'm just saying, think about what other people have to put up with in the world. Or is that asking too much of you?

Funny... I was thinking exactly the same about you. That is why I got so angry with your arrogant thread!

Haha. No.

The system's in place. You're going to have to put up with exchange rates just like BiggAdd and the rest of the world does, and as far as I'm concerned, that's period. If the exchange rate for once screws you, instead of BiggAdd, you should just live with it instead of complain. BiggAdd is right, you know - that $11 is nothing compared to how companies like Adobe screw non-US residents.

And you know what the big secret is? The UK isn't getting ripped off because of BiggAdd's attitude, as you so ferociously imply, but because coorporations and companies like to make money through lame excuses. And another one: TGC is a company.

I'll let you do the math.

PS. It is never smart to call an establishe member selfish an irresponsible. Although he should indeed be ashamed that he didn't Photoshop some awesome image to make his point.

You guys are bloody freaking pathetic. "An established member"? This is my first introduction to the guy, and if I met him on the street I would punch him in the face if he talked to me like that. I doubt either of you are past puberty yet, you need to learn how to speak to your elders properly.

What you have both just told me, is that the US isn't fair to you "boo hoo, our countries are pathetic piles of crap, and the US a country that has only been around a few hundred years is far better than us"

This country, that you all like to attack, is the only reason that you have the toys you have today. If it wasn't for this country and the free spirt this country allowed, half of you would still be wiping your collective asses with newspapers and leaves in an outhouse. There would be no TGC without this country making all of the technological expansions possible.

So sit and spin

Punching someone in the face because of something he said seems to me like a rather immature thing to do, so if you are their "elder" as you put it, then you must have one of those "mind of a six-year-old" brain diseases.

Pretty much everything is made in China, Japan, or Korea. I even saw a little American flag with a "made in China" tag.

Force Master,
The difference between a respectable man who feels he shouldn't have to pay the extra $11, and a man who has nothing better to do with his valuable time, is someone who e-mails the guys at TGC about this small pricing problem and someone who posts an unattractive thread about it.

3.11 We do not tolerate posts made for the purpose of putting down another forum member, group of members, religion, our company, our staff or any of our moderators, past or present.

force master, stop your whining. From what I've read you could very easily be a ten-year old who wants the prices changed so he has enough birthday money to buy FPSC. Stop telling others to grow up, and take your own advice.

well, if I am the immature one and you are apparently the mature ones. Than the world really is screwed.

Have a nice night, I am sick and tired of dealing with people like yourselves.

Again! completely uncanny. Can you actually read my mind?

Anyway, maybe a nights sleep will make you realize how much of a fool you've been.

To be fair, I agree with force master here.

Just kidding.

Seriously 'force master' you've made your point and we've all seen how passionate you are about $11. It's a fine example to us all to see somebody being so thrifty in a time of economic-whoopsy. Unfortunately, like most products out there, if you don't like the price there's not a lot you can do about it. Save up a few more pennies maybe?

Oh ya, the world must be screwed because you have to pay an extra $11 for your product. That's very logical.

And on a side note, who gave you all the authority to speak for TGC? The topic author should have emailed TGC support directly, but this elitist attitude from so-called "established members" is not helping to make this forum welcoming to "un-established members".

TGC can speak with this customer, as nobody in this thread including myself has the authority to speak for them.

But we do have the authority to ban people, and given the attitude that Force Master has here that's exactly what I'd like to do.

We don't threaten people here for any reason, you sound just like a user we used to have called Red Oktober, and it didn't get him very far either.

Curb the attitude or go somewhere else Force.
