There was a beta of directx 9 ages ago - does anyone know when this will actually be released????

And also, when is Internet Explorer 7 (or 6.5) coming out? With the next O.S.? (WinXP 2?)

I think it will be released anytime soon now. The New Radeon 9700 cards are Dx 9.0 cards, so they really could use it.

And, DBS team said that they will probably be doing a patch to add DX 9.0 support in as soon as it is lauched. It would be a win-win situation for them too...
