So I went and watched Saw V at the theaters yesterday... I don\'t want to give any spoilers so I am just going to say I thought it was pretty good. Even know the critics don\'t say the best about it.

It's just getting old now, the first one was pretty darn good, then the second one was alright, and now they're really just milking it.

I've gotta agree with Alucard. Fair enough if it's just not my type of film and I can't judge the new one as I haven't seen it but I don't plan on seeing it either.

To me the Saw films were just an excuse for excessive sadistic violence, without having to write a decent plot. I'm not going to put myself through watching Saw V. Well, I thought the first one was not bad, but then they went all EA on us and started making crap sequel after the other.

Lol. I really liked the first one. The movie would've remained a classic, but then they had to beat it into the ground

3 and 4 because they interlinked so well!

5 goes along really well with the stories to me. 2 just seems out of wack. It seems like a whole different movie.

I want to see 4, I've seen 3, 2, and 1. Hopefully I'll be able to see 5. Wait, are we talking about the saw movies or numbers, because I'm talking about numbers!

Cheers,

I agree with Robert F. Just got back from Saw V, and I thought it was done really well. Really added more depth to all the Saw films, except Saw 2. Saw 2 Just doesn't fit in. And regardless of the sequels they really can't force it.

Not sure how anyone fell asleep during Saw 5? To me it was paced just right. Lots of twists and good Saw puzzles. I will try to rate them in order, but it's hard because Saw 5 is so dependent on the other movies with it's story. I love the fact that it spanned from Pre Saw to current.

1. Saw
2. Saw 4
3. Saw 3
4. Saw 5 (4 because it wouldn't be as good or understandable withour the story lines from 3, 4, and 1: It could easily be in spot 3. and Saw 3 in spot 4.)
5. Saw 2 (can you say WTF?)

I do however have 1 question which is a small spoiler.

So if you haven't seen the movie DO NOT CLICK THE CODE TAG!!!!!

/////SPOILER ALERT!!!!/////

To be honest I havn't seen Saw V and don't want to. In my opinion, Saw 1 was the best, then after that they really changed it and tried too hard to make it good.

Then again, that is my opinion.

Thanks .

I liked Saw 1, but Saw 2 made me think 'what?' The plot was fairly weak in my opinion - the scene was well done, but it seemed focused on the gore, even more so for Saw 3 and that's what they seem to be milking. The plot reall seems to exist in order to excuse more movies, as far as I am concerned there is only 1 saw movie as there were no reason to make sequels. I've not seen 4 and I doubt I'll see 5.

Me to. I don't think I have actually seen a movie that has scared me in probably about 3 years. Somebody told me the strangers was pretty scary so I might go watch that.

Try Cannibal Holocaust. Not for the squeamish. It was banned in many countries because the governments thought it was real footage.

I just saw "Saw 3". First one was good, second one was rubbish, third one was terrible. Let me guess what the fourth one is going to be like...
