I am making a doorsegment.
I got all required files:
Meshbank: door.x door_frame.x and door_punch.x
Texturebank: Door_d2.dds
Entitybank: All required files

First of all I cant import my animated door into the editor as scenery.
Then I tried to just make the frame with a CSG, but I get this error in the FPSC Map editor (see pic)

I dont know what to do. I have tried everyhting I think could help.
I reorganized my files, reexportd the meshes, renamed everything so that they allmost got the same names...

I really need help!

Could be either a missing texture reference in your .x or a corrupt .x file.
I get such errors when i try to export from .obj to .x so i use .3ds for better results.
Did you give the csg a texture?

Maybe one of this helps...

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.

Hmmm, open up the segment's .fps file, and find the lines where it looks for your door frames and CSG models.....

Perhaps it's got the directories wrong or something.

Now when I import the door the CSG changes to the door, but its still the Punch mesh.
Anyone want to give it a try?

Okay this is what you need to do

The door frame, CSG and the door *.*.x files needs to be in the meshbank.
Then the door FPE files needs to be in the entitybank.

The FPE file will then have to be edited to point where the mesh is.
In order for the door to work correctly as intend one needs to import the door via FPSC entity creator and that will write the animation frames to the fpe file as well as making the door dynamic extra.

REMEMBER all segments created that has entities will load the FPE file from the entity bank and not the mesh like a normal segment.
Also note that only ONE entity per segment can be used.

As for CSG remember that any mesh can be assigned CSG properties make sure you have loaded the correct mesh as the punch.

Make sure that the door has not overwritten the punch.x by accident

Another side note once you have deleted some thing from the menu in
the segment editor the slot where that mesh was is empty however as soon as you load in another mesh it fills that slot with the new mesh and assigns the previous values to that mesh textures CSG ect...So rather start afresh when you have to delete something from the editor menu

I hope this helps.

It still wont work.
If anyone want to give it a try, here are the files.
Dont try to rip them, these are for a private project so I will notice if I find them somewere.
But if you make it work you get my permission to use it if you want to
