Dark GDK / Executables wont run!!!

My *.exe files dont run! My code compiles and runs just fine, but when I open my executables all I get is a blank screen. How can I fix this?

The usual problem is having your media files in the wrong subdirectory relative to the EXE.

I dont think that is the problem because I run the .exe from its own directory, where it is originally built by the compiler.

When you run a program from Visual Studio the default directory is the project directory, not where the executable is. Everything is relative.
