I was wondering how I would make an illumination map for lights and such, as I heard they improve the look of the lighting and such.....

I think you trace over the part of the texture that you want illuminated, in gray (the lighter the gray, the more intense the illumination on that part) and the rest of the texture (not to be illuminated) in black. Save it with _i on the end (e.g. light_i) make sure the file format is DDS.

I think you also have to copy that into the Alpha channel, otherwise it wont happen something.

What? This has nothing to do with Airmod. But it will work with it.
