FPSC Classic Scripts / I learned Java for over a year, scripting should be hard for me right?

Just wanna ask caus ive not gone deep into scripting with FPS Creator caus i havent had the time yet, but i learned JAVA in college for a year and i found it really good and i am not bad at it at all and now in UNI i am studying Computer science for my first year and second year i have a choice on which modules to take and im taking game designing..So scripting shouldnt be hard right...is it similar to Java.. as thats what i know, plus im ok With VB...

Do they teach how to use grammar in University? I had to read that twice to work out the actual meaning.

Anyway, If you are competent at Java, you should be OK with the FPI. There's a few quirks as to how they function, but object oriented programming sets you up nicely.
