Best AI shoot combo please...

Ok, I have an area that is maze like and many times when you are near the enemy they just stand there and don't shoot or their heads are turned and they don't shoot, even when you are close.

With the current version of FPSC (1.13) what is the best combo for making enemy AI better?

Currently I have the main set at pace10 / shoot set at shoot10 and on others main set at strafe10 / shoot set at shoot10 to mix it up a bit (some are running, some are strafing).

Is there a better main/shoot combo to make the AI recognize the player is there and shoot at them?

It's bad enough that the enemy dies and lies face down with arms out or falls into a wall, but at least can they shoot at the player when they are right in front of their face????

Thanks

Many of the AI scripts use the plrcanbeseen, shotdamage, or noiseheard conditions. This makes the characters position and field of view the trigger to start shooting. In a close environment where you may come up on the enemy quickly and find him facing the wrong direction, it would be better to use plrdistwithin with a small number to make the enemy respond all the time.

Best.
