In the official community guide, they tell you how to make a gun but it is confusing!

I love the FPSC! But it goes slow on my stupid computer!

So you want someone....to sit down..and tell you right here how to make a gun? Not going to happen. If you know how to model with milkshape, then take a picture of a gun, set it as the milkshape background, and just model over it.

dude if you really want a turkey sandwich, then make one, and make ham.sdaF?

You model a gun like you would model anything else.
If you don't understand that, get out of here first, go join a modelers only community (preferably of your favorite program)and learn about modeling first.
Come back once you understand and only then start thinking about games...

ok, the two posts above seem a bit harsh. But they have some good points. Most people don't have time to right tutorial so im afraid you might have to look around a bit. these are some that i found with a simple google search:

This one is about modeling a shotgun for half life 2

This one is about the basics and was found on the milkshape website.

Hope these help.

okay in the quick way do this,

1.- model the weapon,
2.- export as .obj and make uv-map in uv-mapper classic
3.- import new file,
4.- animatie your weapon,
5.- copy the gun files from another gun and copy those in your gun's folder,
6.-replace the texure's and the HUD.X, edit the gunspec, and test it out

for a better detailed version you should search

sorry for my bad english (i am dutch)

Oh,guys...I did a tutorial on how to animate a gun using Milkshape.
You can find it in the official guide to FPSC and there's a link to it in the stickies at the top of this board.
