i was wondering has anyone got any good ideas for a modeler i was thinking of using light wave but does anyone have any other recommendations which might be easier for fpsc

milkshake 3d or blender right when you make them are they automatically in .x format ready for the entity make or will i have to get them in .x format

and will i need to use any other programs with either of them to actually make a model

I like 3ds max 9, but thats FAR from free...uhh...best freeware would be Blender

dude if you really want a turkey sandwich, then make one, and make ham.sdaF?

yeah but for starters i would say milkshape, blender is very complicated

Blender is VERY hard to get started in, if you're looking for an easy one I have to agree, milkshape is the best but not free. Before I got it I used Anim8or which is a solid programme if you get the .x converter from the boards and LithUnwrap. Problem is that Anim8or does not allow you to export animations so for character modeling it's not too great.

truespace or gamespace works pretty good thos are free. and game creators has a couple for a little doe

the door opens but the wall is in the way, but without it there 's around the door
