After updating to the most recent DBC, I have encountered a very annoying issue.

Instead of going to the Default myproj, or the page before that, it opens into

"Documents and Settings/[My Name]/Desktop"

Any way to fix the default directory?

Thanks guys.

Have you tried running DBRESET.EXE? It is in the same folder as db.exe.

Ever notice how in Microsoft word, the word "microsoft" is auto corrected to be "Microsoft" but "macintosh" just gets the dumb red underline?

No thanks! However, when I ran DBReset, It reset the default file. When I ran DBC again, it kept the same file. Can I just use DBReset? Or is there some reseting part I'm not doing right? All I did was ran the exe.

I'm not having this problem, but was curious as to whether it could be solved by simple means.

I tried editing some settings under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareDark Basic
in the Windows Vista Registry (also tried this on XP), but has no effect. There's no sign of any .ini files in the Dark BASIC folder so thats me confused too.

Sorry guys

Just an idea, use the dbc command that gets the installation location of darkbasic. It could be that THAT registry key was changed, which means it is just looking in a generic location for the folder myproj.

hmmm I am not sure, can't seem to find it, maybe I am just confused (more likely). You could try to re-install darkBASIC from scratch, see if that works.
