Nice, I suggest you screw it, and give them for free, lol. If you want to make a commercial pack, I suggest you add some gory body parts along with the overlays.

I say its worth a dollar or two, which isnt bad, considering those overlays are freaking cool, but if you add some more gory stuff in like maybe a dead person, a few body parts, then it could be forth like 4 or 5 dollars.

The pattern of the blood is great, but it could use a bit more variation in the color tone. But they're good, that's for sure. Keep it up.

nice, they certainly add to the gorefest vibe. Personal fave is the first one. how about some corner pieces? Like a blood plat the is cut at a righ angle, so you can put in on tables and corners? That would be cool. the only crit is the mirroring on the drag overlay is horrible!

and Dar13, your sig makes no sense. try:

Thanks all

@Butters: Nearing the end of the pack, I decided to make some drag overlays, but got lazy as hell and mirrored them to be all "seamless" (which really didn't end-up mattering). And that corner thing is a good idea, I may work on that, so look at this thread for a dl.

@Roger: I kept it one tone and didn't burn areas so multiple overlays could overlap and not look all nasty.

Here's what the drags are supposed to look like.

The arrows were created by mirroring.

Now you what it's like to play Oblivion whilst wondering "what the hell is that texture meant to be?", half of the time in the gates, all you see is mirrored textures everywhere, it makes me sick.

The blood looks great, and the mirrored blood drag isn't bad. Besides, I like mirrored textures which look alright, unlike Oblivion /.

@FCV: I know, I hate the repetitiveness of Oblivion's textures; the same damn floor for miles!

I'm working on some blood in the bulletholes.dds (the blood that appears on the wall/floor when you shoot an enemy) and with EAI's permission, include some high-res bulletholes.

BREAKTHROUGH

I found a way to add full alpha to overlays! I learned from Roger Wilco's blood in TGC store. The overlays had to be immobile/dynamic!!! So I changed each overlay and made them have full alpha and some cool reflection thing.

Place the Pride Pack 1 folder in your Files/entitybank folder.

I personally prefer the look of them when they're static, the cleaner edges look easier on the eye. They look too blurry dynamic.
Anyway, nice work

That's why I didn't delete the old DL, both for whatever you had in mind.

EDIT: Some of the blur may be due to the distance rendering (not sure they have MIPMAPS or not).

FPSC will automatically generate mip maps as far as I know. I tried removing them from my textures but they kept appearing anyway and making everything blurry. THere's a command in DB that can turn Mip Mapping off and make everything crisper, but unfortunately theres no way to get at it from FPSC, from FPSCs performance troubles its probably no bad thing though.

The new alphas look much better, the old ones were ok, but they looked very Indy these fit more naturally into a scene. Good work

@Butters, thanks for clarifying, always wondered why my stuff mip mapped itself...

@CG, go ahead, do whatever except claim it as yours or sell it.

Plan on making any more pride?
I'd personally like to have an insane blood
decal that can be slapped on the wall to look
like a genocide wen ton in a small room.
Or perfect the blood and make them look
about like these examples.
Your blood should be about that dark really.

Alright, I'll try to make some more unique, less repeatable splats for insane gorefest scenes.

Being on my noobie slap has kinda discouraged me to get on the forums, though I openly accept my consequence. Maybe when I get off, I'll make som more blood, but as of now, it won't go by fast.

When I downloaded it, it crashed FPSC too. Which was really too bad, they looked really, realy cool!

I'm using v1.08, with efxMOD. I hope I can get it resolved!

Either way, nice job. They looked bloody cool. (sorry, couldn't resist)

EDIT:

Nevermind, I downloaded the new pack you released a few posts up, and it fixed everything. Thanks a bunch!!
