I'm sorry mods for a non-productive post. But this goes out to you too.

I just wanted to wish all the good friends I've met here on the forums a safe, and Happy Thanksgiving! (for those who celebrate it anyway).

All my best wishes to you all.

TCP.

Why couldn't you just post this in Geek Culture? And it's not Thanksgiving yet, BTW.

Agreed.

However, the real reason we celebrate Thanksgiving is to celebrate a few things:

1) The Indians are to be thanked for teaching the Pilgrims how to harvest corn, grain, & other stuff.
2)The beginning of hunting season
3) The end of harvest

I know that Seth's message had sarcasm written all over it, but there are reason why we celebrate it. Didn't learn about it yet (I will in 11th grade *grumble*) but that's what I assume Thanksgiving's for.

...very well put, Conjured Entertainment!

An awful lot can be learned by studying and remembering history.

It's a shame that redaction of history books, and history revision is becoming the norm.

The universe works in a series of checks and balances. With every morsel of food you eat; with every breath you take, something has surrendered its life, so that you can continue on. There is no free lunch.

Every day should be one to be spent being grateful for the fallen, and their great sacrifice...

The holiday is the same as Christmas it doesn't make sense since most people celebrates it even if they arn't christian or aethiest but still it's a day we get out of school and if you hate it you don't have to destroy his thread with insults.

No, I was a bit harsh and should have been more positive.
Sorry, I will edit out most of my opinions since they were uncalled for.

Thanksgiving is over now anyway, so the thread should die on its own.

LOL, That's Cool. But That's what freedom of speach is all about. We can all be thankful for that, my friend.
