Take a look at:

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/DarkBASIC_Programming

Scroll down to Day 18 if its Pong you're interested in - or why not glance over the rest of the tutorials on there...

From the page text:
Quote: "if you don't understand the material review previous lessons or consult the DarkBASIC help files."

Also there is a 3D version by Lee Bamber called "battyball" which comes with DBC. Its located in:

Hope that helps you

Not always the best idea. I have found certain inadequacies in them (help files that give NO help whatsoever except how to format the command, and nothing about what they do). A better idea: If you don't understand the material (after reviewing the previous lessons), come onto the forums, use the search feature and find when the question has been asked before. If it hasn't post and ask. We are always willing to help, just follow the general rules as listed here:

Ever notice how in Microsoft word, the word "microsoft" is auto corrected to be "Microsoft" but "macintosh" just gets the dumb red underline?

The hyperlinks in the help files seem to be a bit broken too.

As an example, look up a Sprite command and click "Sprite Commands" (which should return you to the Sprites menu page) and you end up going straight to the Sprite command page.

I've found that when running DB.exe you need to either click "Back" or hit Escape and use the mouse to click the Help menu again. A little annoying.

However, they are good as a quick reference when you can't remember the arguments/parameters (whichever of these two it is) for a particular command.

I had no idea that wiki existed!!!
Looks substantial, I might check it out.

A small program that works is better than a large one that doesn't.
