Here is the most destructive enemy ever to grace a video game, Rick Astley! Not only will he Rick Roll your sorry behind with style, but then he will kick your butt!

He's ready for download!

Download here: link removed

I've included a very basic Rick-Roll script, let's see how creative you can be! There's nothing funnier than watching him from across the room, totally oblivious to whatever else is going on around him. He keeps synchronized through the whole song!

Here's my first FPSC Rick Roll effort: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY1M-CJHQ8s

Thats a great mesh for modding into a gangster.

It'd be so funny to make a full game, but halfway through you open a door and BAM, its just rick rolled. and he's bullet proof, and everything.

YEEES!
The horror is spreading!
Muhahahahahahaha!

Very nice work Bond.
It's nice to see you venturing out of the FPS norm. (monsters, warriors, etc)

Speaking of monsters...I missed that chainsaw brute since he was only for sale briefly.
I want all your character models, and he is no exception.
What is the status of his TurboSquid appearance? (eta?)

Thanks, this was a speed model - modelled, textured, rigged, and animated in one day. It was therapeutic, I needed a break, I was getting too serious about modelling, and I wanted to something lighthearted and fun.

I want to put together a nice little gory zombie level, and put him in a room where you get Rick-Rolled, upload it to Youtube, and see if I can get it to go "viral". Maybe send an email to G4 TV about it too. It could be good publicity for FPSC....

I'll be releasing it for free after I do that - maybe by the end of the week or so.

Quote: "...this was a speed model - modelled, textured, rigged, and animated in one day. It was therapeutic..."

Okay Bond, now we will be expecting a different one of these great models every day now.
You'll have your sanity again soon.
Seriously though, if you can crank out this quality in that short amount of time, then these are the models you should be making.
That would solve the time-in vs. reward issue.
Only use a non-famous person so you could charge for it. (people would pay for this)

Quote: "I was getting too serious about modelling, and I wanted to something lighthearted and fun."

Yeah, I was shocked to see you give away such a nice freebie after mentioning your thoughts about financial practices concerning modelling.

Quote: "Maybe send an email to G4 TV about it too. "

Yeah, I heard they are playing movies now, so a friend suggested them for a Machinima distributor.
I'm using a short machinima movie (60 minutes or less, probably 30 or less) for my viral campain.
The best thing about using a video instead of a game is that the viewers have no way of ripping your models.

Quote: "It could be good publicity for FPSC.."

Yeah, that's why I always post the web address for The Game Creators whenever I do a video at YouTube.
Every plug helps.

On a side note: Stop ignoring my question Bond!
You know I will hound you until you answer, so don't make me email you!
Just kidding, but seriously, am I ever gonna get a chance to get that chainsaw brute?

I'm guessing there will be no death animation It'd be great to rip out the bone setup and throw them on say other fpsc characters and have them all break it down when you enter a trigger zone lol.

That bartender is funny, at first he's like, "I don't have time for this crap, I have glasses to clean." Then 5 seconds later he's like, "Oh hells yeah!"

I've just added this animation to the end of the standard animations, so you can use him as a regular character too. The Chainsaw Brute is part of the new model pack I'm working on, it should be ready to go by the beginning of the year. Conjured, send me an email.
